Wyoming, MI - The Raiders of Grand Rapids Community College topped the Grace men's JV team Thursday night, 95-86. The Tigers fell behind by 19 to enter the halftime break, and could never fully recover despite battling the game to within a single digit deficit multiple times with some inspired second half play.
Sophomore
Thomas Hill provided a huge spark in the second half, scoring 19 points on 7-8 shooting and 3-3 from beyond the arc - all in the final 20 minutes of play.
Gerard Oray and
Mike Chahoua both scored 13 points to follow, with Chahoua also pulling down 10 rebounds to complete a double-double.
Jarmichael Heard scored 11 points and dished out a team-high 9 assists. The Tigers hit 15 three-point shots on the game, coming within one of breaking the JV school record.
The Tigers return to the court Saturday at 4:00 pm against the Muskegon Community College Jayhawks.
