Wyoming, MI – The Tigers JV basketball squad was unable to make the necessary plays down the stretch to come away with a win Monday evening against Lake Superior State University, falling to 5-6 on the year after a 74-69 setback.
Offensively the Tigers did not have their best night, shooting only 39% from the field and committing 20 turnovers.
Freshman Jarmichael Heard led the Tigers with 17 points, followed by 16 from sophomore Thomas Hill. Freshman Gerard Oray flirted with a triple-double with 7 points, 10 rebounds, and a JV program record 11 assists.
Next up for the JV team is Northwood University, as they look to bounce back to .500 at home Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.
