Wyoming, MI – The Grace JV basketball team bounced back from a loss Wednesday at Great Lakes Christian College in a big way Thursday evening, defeating rival Calvin University 84-71 in front of a lively crowd at the Aldrich Athletic Center.

After a tightly contested first half, the Tigers exploded with a 29-12 run midway through the second half to take control of the game and extend their lead to 18 points. The win was certainly one of the most memorable performances in JV program history, topping in convincing fashion a Knights JV team that defeated Grand Rapids Community College and Muskegon Community College a few short weeks ago.

Ethan Clasen shot 10-14 from the floor and 5-7 from the field en route to a team high 25 points on the night. Jordan Cobb and Adam Rearick pitched in 14 points each, while Micah Cramer added 10. Elisha Moore stuffed the stat sheet with 8 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals. As a team the Tigers shot 11-22 from beyond the arc, with a handful of the makes coming at very timely moments in the game.

Next up for the Tigers, who now sit at 8-5 on the season, is a trip to Grace College in Winona Lake, IN next Monday at 7:00 pm.
