Ann Arbor, MI – To cap off a busy week, the Tigers traveled to Concordia University-Ann Arbor for an NCCAA divisional match-up on Friday afternoon. The Tigers hung strong with the 2019 NCCAA National Champions until allowing 7 runs in the final two innings, resulting in a 13-2 loss to the Cardinals.
Riley Nieswender had a solid outing on the mound to keep the Tigers in it for the first four innings, allowing 4 earned runs and notching 2 strikeouts.
Carter Willis went 1-2 from the plate with a double and an RBI.
Next up for the Tigers is a doubleheader on the eastside of the state at Siena Heights University this upcoming Wednesday at 2:00 pm.
