Wyoming, MI - JV Basketball took on the Aquinas Saints on Tuesday night at the Aldrich. The TIgers coming off of a big win in their last matchup were looking to continue that momentum into this contest.
The Tigers got off to a hot start led by Julian Hardy and Jay Jones. The Tigers had a 10 point lead late in the first half but the Saints would fight back and tie the game up at 46 heading into the locker room.
The second half proved to be back and forth as neither team could gain the advantage. The Saints would gain a 3 point lead with just under one minute remaining in regulation before Julian Hardy hit a clutch three to tie the game up. Tristin Griffin would then knock down the go ahead bucket, giving the Tigers a 98-96. The Saints would have a chance to tie the game but would come up short giving the Tigers their third victory of the season.
