Kentwood, MI - The Grace Softball team hosted Lake Michigan College on Friday evening for their final double header of the season.
The Red Hawks took game one in 7 innings as they defeated the Tigers 7-0.
Kaliann Newberry recorded a double at the bottom of the first. On the mound for Grace was
Emma Balkema who pitched all 7 innings and struck out 6.
In game two
Carlee DeVries and Newberry combined for the only two hits for the Tigers. Freshman
Alyssa Wallinga threw 5.0 innings. Lake Michigan claimed their second victory 8-0.
Grace Christian Softball concluded their second ever season with a 13-20 overall record.
