Wyoming, MI - The Tigers closed out their regular season on the road at Kuyper College and then on their home court for the season finale against Washtenaw Community College. The Tigers came into these games 7-9 on the season and are looking to bring it back to the .500 mark heading into the tournament.
Led by Trenton Rembert and Mike Donald the Tigers got off to a hot start against the Cougars on Wednesday night. Taking an 11 point lead into the locker room at the half. The Tigers would continue to keep up the offensive attack and extend their lead to go on to a comfortable 90-70 win. Rembert finished with a 24 point, 12 rebound double-double. Javante Jones finished with a 16 point, 12 rebound double-double, and Michael Donald finished the game with 22 points and 4 made threes.
On Thursday the Tigers were back in action at the Aldrich to conclude the regular season taking the the Wolfpack from Washtenaw Community College.
The Tigers opened the game on a 10-0 scoring run with Aiden Koetje scoring the Tigers first 8 points of the game. Up 53 to 25 at the half the Tigers were on cruise control in the second half and went on to win 110-73.
Michael Donald led the scoring with 18 points. Javante Jones finished the game with a 14 point, 21 rebound double-double on the night. The Tigers had 6 guys finish in double figures in the contest with every player getting in the scoring column.
