Box Score Chicago, IL – The Grace men's soccer team went on the road to face a tough team in NCAA DIII Illinois Institute of Technology Tuesday afternoon.  After a hard fought 90 minutes of action, the Tigers tied the Scarlet Hawks 1-1.

Sophomore Tarcisio Silva continued his stellar stretch as of late, recording the lone Tiger goal.  Senior keeper Drew Smith played outstanding, recording a season-high 15 saves on 16 shots on goal.  Grace moves to 9-5-1 on the season with two games remaining before postseason play.

"Drew Smith made some key saves," commented Head Coach Dustin Buchanan. "In all, it was a solid result away from home against a quality side.  We had several guys step up like Roberto Mendez, Hunter Smith, and Jonathan Hansen, who all gave solid minutes and made an impact."

The Tigers, who also just moved to #3 in the NCCAA DII, will now have a week off before returning to the field on Wednesday the 19^th vs. Andrews University in Berrien Springs.
