Grace traveled to Olivet, MI on Friday for some heavy NAIA competition against the Britons of Albion College and Comets of host school Olivet College.
The Tigers lost in three to the Britons of Albion with scores of 13-25, 14-25, 10-25. Grace made an improved showing against the Comets of Olivet, but again lost in three sets 13-25 22-25 21-25.
"We've intentionally stacked the end of our regulation season with stronger competition to prepare us for our upcoming Regionals," Coach Becky Karsten said. "It's a challenge, but also a great opportunity to sharpen our mental game and fine tune the physical skills that will carry us through the remainder of our year."
Team Contributions on the Night: Team total of 10 assisted blocks, 30 kills and a whopping 83 team digs! Game ball was awarded to Sophomore Robin Gould (Right Side) for her high energy and encouraging demeanor on the court. Led the Tigers in Digs against Albion and recorded 100% serve percentage.
