GBCVB coasts to 3-0 win

Wyoming, MI – The Tigers welcomed Great Lakes Christian College to the Aldrich Athletic Center Tuesday night, facing the Crusaders for the second time this season.  They came away winning in three straight sets – 25-15, 25-4, 25-8.

"It was good to see the versatility we have to offer as a team," said Coach Becky Karsten. "We stayed sharp and focused and every team member made contributions to the match in a positive way."

Notable contributions against Great Lakes: Emma Summerfield had a career high nine aces of the team's total of 16. Danielle Boyd made an appearance in the front row earning 2 kills and Heather VanderWoude collected 7 set assists.

Alli Kortman was awarded the game ball for her consistent serve receive passing and controlled front row presence. She also added an ace and kill to the night's victory.

The Tigers host Morthland College and Lake Michigan College this Saturday 10/8, with games at 10am and 2pm. The game theme will be FLANNEL DAY! Break out the fall attire and get ready for donuts and cider during the 2pm game! Go Tigers!
