Box Score
Wyoming, MI - The Northwood University Timberwolves JV team came to town Wednesday night and defeated the Tigers JV squad, 76-67. After falling behind 32-22 to finish the half, the Tigers faltered in the first minutes of the second half and allowed the Timberwolves to extend their lead to as many as 20 points. The switch was made to an all-out full-court pressure defense, which would bring the Tigers back within striking distance but they never could close the gap completely.
Despite Grace's effort, 3-32 (9.4%) shooting from beyond the arc makes it tough to come out with a win.
Sophomore
Nick Schierbeek had a season-high 17 points and 8 rebounds for the Tigers, followed by
Ethan Kafila with 14 and 14 boards. Grace outrebounded Northwood 51-44, but also committed 22 turnovers to even the possession battle.
This was the first of four games in four straight days for Grace. The Tigers travel across town to Cornerstone tomorrow night to face the Golden Eagles.
