Box Score Wyoming, MI - The Grace men's soccer team showed up to Velting Field Wednesday afternoon hoping to avenge a loss earlier this season to Andrews University.
Freshman
Bawi Lian would get things started for the Tigers, volleying the ball into the back of the net off of a tremendous assist from sophomore Koby Kusi-Appiah. The first half would finish with Grace holding their 1-0 advantage.Â
Junior
Daniel Sischo would propel the Tigers to victory in the second half with 2 goals. The Cardinals cut the lead to 3-2 on a penalty kick with under 10 minutes remaining, but the Tigers defense held strong to secure the 3-2 victory. Senior
Mark Olson started the game in the goal, recording 5 saves in the win.
Grace, now 6-8 on the season, returns to their home field this Friday at 4:00 pm against a very talented Cleary University squad.
