Box Score Wyoming, MI – The Grace men's JV team moves to 2-0 on the season after a convincing 100-76 win over the Madonna University Crusaders. The Tigers started relatively slow, but a 26-3 run to end the first half and begin the second half would give them a comfortable lead and they never looked back.
The Tigers shot 52% from the field, with very efficient shooting from Thomas Hill, who was 6-6 from the field and 2-2 from beyond the arc for 15 points. Brady Boothe led the Tigers with 18 points on 6-9 shooting and was also 2-2 from the 3 point line. Lake Serba added 15, Jason Long added 13, and Mike Warren pitched in 10 to round out the Grace players in double-figures. Long and Adam VanLaar led the Tigers in rebounds with 7 apiece. DeAngelo Williams led the team with 8 assists from the point guard position.
Next Thursday the Tigers will face Cornerstone University at home in what will be designated as "The Office Theme Night." Come out and support the guys while dressing up as your favorite office character, bringing quotes/posters, or whatever else you may think of.
