Concordia tops Grace, 6-0

Box Score Wyoming, MI - The Grace men's soccer team continued their extremely tough schedule to begin the 2017 season with a home match versus Concordia University-Ann Arbor Wednesday evening.  The Cardinals of Concordia fired quick out of the gate, scoring four times in the first 20 minutes of the game en route to a 6-0 final.

Junior Ryan Wilson had a great look at the goal to put the Tigers on the board in the second half, but a Cardinal defender made an exceptional block after the ball found its way past the goalkeeper.  Freshman keeper Jake Larsen received a lot of attention throughout the game, with the Cardinals recording 29 shots and 12 on goal.  He finished the night with 6 saves.  The Tigers did have a good amount of offensive chances, as they recorded 8 shots and 2 on goal.

The Tigers return to the field Saturday at Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio at 3:00 pm.
