Box Score Wyoming, MI – It was Future Tiger Day Wednesday night at the Aldrich Athletic Center, as GBCVB faced Kellogg Community College in a great volleyball atmosphere in their packed home gym. After falling in their first set, the Tigers stormed back to even things at one game each headed into the third set. The Tigers and Bruins would alternate wins again in the third and fourth sets, with the Bruins prevailing 15-7 in the fifth set to score the road victory over the Tigers The only two losses for Grace this season have been in five set matches.
"After dropping the match in five sets for the second time this season, the short response is clear - that was not how we wanted to end the night after four sets of hard work," commented Head Coach
Becky Karsten. "In our post game discussions, we brought our focus to 'you don't win and lose, you win and
learn'. As a team we talked about where we want to go from here, and what the process looks like to produce positive change. We are not afraid of hard work, and we will continue to challenge ourselves as the season progresses."
"As always, thanks to the fans who came out as part of Future Tiger Day; we appreciate your ongoing support!" added Karsten.
Grace moves to 6-2 on the season heading into games this Saturday in Dubuque, Iowa against Emmaus Bible College (NCCAA DII) and Grinnell College (NCAA DIII).
