Box Score Gary, IN – In their first home game of the 2017 season the Grace Bible College Tigers volleyball team faced NAIA DII Indiana University-Northwest and lost in a five set match that lasted over two and a half hours. Wednesday night they traveled to face the Red Hawks in their gym, this time falling in three sets, 23-25, 17-25, 23-25.
"Statistically, this was one of our lowest attacking percentages of the season," commented Head Coach
Becky Karsten. "Converting attack attempts into kills will be key to acquiring and maintaining any type of decisive lead."
As a team, the Tigers recorded a .099 attack percentage, compared to a .245 percentage from the Red Hawks.
"Our take away from the match is that we need to erase hesitancy from our play and trust each individuals play their position in order to best aligned as a team for success," added Karsten.
The Tigers return to the court this Saturday at home, facing NCAA DIII Kalamazoo College at 10:00 am.
