Jacksonville, FL – The Grace women's soccer team enjoyed the past 4 days in the Sunshine state, and they competed in two very competitive games on Friday and Saturday at Trinity Baptist College.  Their first test would be against NCCAA #1 Bob Jones University, and the match-up would somewhat go as anticipated, needing extra time to find a victor.  The Bruins would prevail 1-0 in the end, but it was evident that the Tigers showed themselves as serious contenders in the NCCAA DII.
"This was a hard fought game and we had chances to score," commented Head Coach
Scott Teesdale.  "We kept our defensive shape and limited their attack, despite them doing a good job of controlling possession.  It's disappointing to drop another OT game but we're coming away feeling like we played a very solid match."
Coach Teesdale added that he was confident the team would be ready for another test against Trinity Baptist College on Saturday afternoon, and the Tigers showed this to be true coming away with a 2-0 win.  One own goal from TBC and a score from
Stella Follett would do the trick for Grace, finishing their Florida trip 1-1 on the soccer field, while creating some lifelong memories off the field!
Grace returns to the field for their final regular season game on Saturday at noon against St-Mary-of-the-Woods College at home.
