Knoxville, TN – The Grace Christian University volleyball team dominated their first three games at the Mideast Regional Tournament to earn a bid to the championship game Saturday afternoon vs. host school and #1 seed Johnson University-Tennessee. The Tigers would not put together their best match in the final, unfortunately, falling 3-0 to the Royals to return home as the Mideast runner-ups.
In the end, it was a very successful season for Grace, as they finished 19-10 in 2018, which is the best win-loss record the Tigers have produced since the 1994 season.
Emma Summerfield and Ashley Hoek received 2nd-team All-Region honors, while Tori Dogger received 1st-team and was named Region MVP!
