Wyoming, MI – The Tigers got off to one of their slowest starts this season Friday night against Lake Forest College Foresters and never fully recovered, falling 92-71 when it was all said and done.

The Foresters knocked down their first three shots from beyond the arc to start the game, and they would never cool down, connecting on 20 three point shots throughout the game.

The Tigers were able to trim the lead down to 12 and showed some life midway through the second half, but allowed too many opportunities for the sharp-shooting Foresters to knock down open shots and regain momentum, resulting in the 21-point setback. 

Senior Bernard Smith led the Tigers with 16 points on 5-5 shooting from the field.  Senior Caleb Anderson knocked down four three-point shots en route to 12 points on the night.

The Tigers, now 11-7 on the year, will take a break for Christmas and will return to official action in Kissimmee, Florida on January 10 at the Johnson University - Florida Classic.
