Wyoming, MI – The Tigers JV team lost a heartbreaker last night to Davenport University's JV at the Aldrich Athletic Center, falling 81-80 on a last second 3-point shot.  The Tigers were down 9 at the halftime break but caught fire to start the second half, going on a 23-point run to take a 14 point lead with 12 minutes to go in the game.  The Panthers would chip away for the rest of the game and made the necessary shots at the end of the game to escape with the win.

Sophomore Jason Long scored 27 points and pulled down 7 rebounds to lead the Tigers.  Craig Whittaker pitched in 13 while Lashawn Ellington and Deandre Metcalf both had 11.  Lake Serba led the Tigers with 6 assists.

The Tigers move to 9-10 on the season, and they will face Aquinas College in their final game of the season Friday night at home at 7:00 pm.
