Wyoming, MI – The Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks proved to be too much for the Grace Tigers Tuesday afternoon at Velting Field, coming away with a 5-0 victory. 

The Tigers were able to hold strong for a large chunk of the first period, and a couple great saves by freshman goalkeeper Drew Steensma would keep the game at 0-0.  The Scarlet Hawks were able to strike three quick goals in the later part of the half and would never look back. 

The Tigers were not without their chances for the entire game, as they earned 6 corner kicks and had 3 legitimate shots at the Scarlet Hawks goalkeeper but could not find the back of the net.  

Grace returns to the field this Friday in Howell, MI against Cleary University.
