Wyoming, MI – The Grace volleyball team continues to provide dramatic matches in their home gym, most recently against Lake Michigan College Wednesday night. After falling behind 2-1, the Tigers dominated the final two sets to prevail over the Red Hawks, 3-2.
Freshman Ashley Hoek put the exclamation point on the victory with one of her team-high 13 kills on the night. The Tigers received a huge lift from two of their other talented freshman Megan Postma and Sierra Dugan, who added 11 kills and 9 kills, respectively. Sophomore Tori Dogger provided 30 assists and 28 digs on the night.
The Tigers knocked a monkey off their back after falling in their last 6 matches to go to a deciding set dating back to last season. They look to carry the momentum into a match-up with Schoolcraft College next Tuesday night in Livonia, MI.
