Terre Haute, IN – The men's soccer team did not have much rest after their home match Saturday, traveling to southern Indiana for a match-up with St-Mary-of-the-Woods College Monday afternoon.  The game would be played tightly throughout, with no scoring in the first 70 minutes of play.  The Tigers would slip up late, surrendering two goals in the waning stages of the game and losing 2-0.

"Yesterday was a long day after six hours of driving and then an hour delay to the game, but we wanted to get a good result," commented Head Coach Dustin Buchanan.  "We played well enough to get one but let up two late goals.  We are in a rough patch right now but have a week to prepare and work and fine tune the things that have been hurting us.  We did a much better job with set pieces tonight but really lacked quality in the final third.  We were in good spots but were not able to make anything materialize."

The Tigers look to rebound next Tuesday against Andrews University at Velting Field.
