Wyoming, MI – The Grace men's soccer team won their fourth straight game at Velting Field Saturday afternoon, defeating the Indiana University Northwest Red Hawks. The Tigers would fall behind 1-0 quickly and allowed three first half goals, but led 4-3 at the break and dominated the final 45 minutes to run away with an 8-3 win.
Freshman
Brett Arnold finished the game with a career-high 5 goals, upping his total on the week to 9 goals and 1 assist in two games, earning him NCCAA Student –Athlete of the Week honors.
Zak TerMeer and
Tobias Jones both had 2 assists for the Tigers.
The Tigers hope to continue their roll on Tuesday in Berrien Springs, MI against Andrews University before returning home to Velting Field for a couple big NCCAA DII games this Friday and Saturday against Moody Bible and Welch College.
