Lansing, MI – The Grace Christian University women's soccer team closed out their 2020 regular season with a 1-1 tie at Great Lakes Christian College Wednesday afternoon.

After a scoreless first half, the Crusaders struck first midway through the final period, and looked like they had a chance to escape with the upset before Grace freshman Haley Pilka put in a goal with less than four minutes remaining to knot things up at 1-1. It was a defensive battle in the two 10 minute overtime periods and neither team could put in a golden goal, resulting in the tie.

The Tigers finish their regular season undefeated in the NCCAA DII and 6-1-2 overall. The Mideast Regional Tournament will take place in Knoxville, TN on November 5^th-7^th.
