Nashville, TN – For the second time in school history, both the Grace men's and women's basketball teams are Regional Champions, both earning themselves an automatic bid to the 2020 NCCAA DII National Tournament. The Grace women defeated Cambellsville-Harrodsburg on Saturday afternoon 76-58, and the men followed by beating Great Lakes Christian College, 84-71.

Miranda Carlson led the women with 23 points and 9 rebounds, followed by
Megan George and
Bre Harris who had 17 and 15 points, respectively. The Tigers shot a staggering 54 free throws on the game and grinded out the win despite shooting only 30% from the floor.

Austin Jackson led the Grace men with 24 points, followed by
Brandon Winchester-Jones,
Adam Kregel, and
Jerome Cobb, who all three pitched in 14. Kregel had a team-high 11 rebounds and Winchester-Jones dished out 7 assists. The Tigers developed an early lead on the Crusaders of Great Lakes Christian College, and combated a huge run in the second half from the opponent with a strong finish in the final minutes to secure the double-digit victory.
Both teams now await their seeding for the 2020 NCCAA DII National Tournament, which will begin in Joplin, MO on March 12th.
