Mishawaka, IN - The Grace Christian University JV men's basketball team moves to 4-1 on the season after a nail-biting 87-83 overtime victory at Bethel College on Monday night.
 
After building a 17-point lead, the Tigers seemed to be in full control of the game before the Pilots stormed back and were able to force overtime with a basket in the waning moments of regulation. The overtime period was within a possession of a lead change throughout, until Zane Draper knocked down an 18-footer in the final minute to give the Tigers a 4-point cushion that they'd eventually finish the game with.
 
The Tigers finished with five scorers in double-figures, led by Gerard Oray with 22 and Adam Rearick with 17. Draper and Ladarius Lyons had 12 apiece, and Nathan Blasko chipped in 11. Oray also recorded 13 assists, 13 rebounds, and 3 steals to complete one of the few triple-doubles seen in the history of the Grace JV basketball program.
 
Grace will return to their home court next week Wednesday against Aquinas College, with the tip-off time still TBD.
