Box Score Wyoming, MI – It was an action packed season opener for the men's JV basketball team Friday evening at the Aldrich Athletic Center, as the Tigers finished the game strong for a 77-69 victory over Spring Arbor.

The Cougars would start the game on fire in the first half, knocking down 9 of their 14 three point shots, but after some second half adjustments from the Tigers they went on to only knock down 2 of 11 in the final twenty minutes and the Tigers were able to build a lead and hold it for the majority of the rest of the game.

Elisha Moore scored a team-high 23 points, followed by LeDarius Lyons who had 17 points and a big offensive output in the second half for the Tigers. Adam Rearick led the Tigers with 11 rebounds.

The Tigers follow up with two straight home games to begin the week on Monday and Tuesday night against Bethel College and then Grace College.
