Grand Rapids, MI - The Grace Christian University women's soccer team finished out their regular season under the lights Monday night against Cornerstone University at Forest Hills Eastern High School.
The Tigers would allow two quick goals to start the game, and would then hold strong until under 10 minutes remained in the first half
Jennie Sue Pilieci scored to trim their deficit to 2-1. The Golden Eagles would be the only team to find the back of the net in the second half for their third and final goal of the game, resulting in a 3-1 loss for the Tigers.
Amiah Lake had another quality performance in the goal coming off of an NCCAA Student Athlete of the Week announcement earlier on in the day, recording 12 saves.
The Tigers finish their regular season 12-6, the 12 wins being the most ever in Grace women's soccer history in a regular season. Stay tuned for postseason seeding, which will be announced soon for next weekend's Mideast Regional Tournament held in Louisville, KY.
