Wyoming, MI – After two games against very difficult opposition, the Grace women's basketball team found their groove against Bob Jones University (SC) upon their return to the Aldrich Athletic Center, leading from start to finish and coming away with a 91-61 win over the NCCAA DII Bruins.
The Tigers stormed out to a 50-32 lead at the halftime break and did not slow down, shooting 55% from the floor on the night – a 35% improvement from their last game against Aquinas College. As a team, the Tigers recorded a season high 26 assists.
Emily Libey led the Tigers with 20 points, followed by
Megan George with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Taejah Cross added 13 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds.
Ashley Hoek had 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Next up for Grace is another tough task in Hope College tonight at 7:00 pm in Holland, MI, which will be designated an exhibition for the Tigers.
