Joplin, MO – After a sluggish first half Saturday afternoon, the Grace men's basketball team found their groove in the second half, outscoring Manhattan Christian College 42-18 in the final 20 minutes en route to a 77-61 win in the NCCAA DII Fifth Place game.

Spencer Grant led the Tigers with 25 points. Jarius Shumpert followed with 11 points and 10 rebounds on the day, as the Tigers outrebounded the Thunder 53-44 as a team. Emone Roberson added 11 and 8.

After a season that was less than ordinary with only a couple home games back in November, the Tigers finish their 2020-21 campaign 14-11, with a regional championship banner and a fifth place finish in the nation in the NCCAA DII.
