Lansing, MI – The Grace Christian University volleyball team remains undefeated in the NCCAA after defeating regional opponent Great Lakes Christian College on the road Tuesday night, 3-0. The Tigers were able to keep comfortable margins throughout the match against an improved Crusaders team, winning the sets 25-19, 25-17, and 25-16.
"The girls worked hard last night to maintain a stable attitude and control our side of the court," said Grace Head Coach
Kerri Shultz. "I was really proud of our attitudes as we switched the line up around some and still stayed aggressive."
Morgan Martin led the Tigers with 11 kills, followed by
Kenna Grant with 8.
Triston Murray had 4 aces for the Tigers.
Dana duChemin recorded 12 assists, while
Miranda Cumings recorded a career-high 10 assists on the night.
Eleyna Zichterman added 13 digs and 3 aces.
The Tigers head to Iowa this weekend for matches against Emmaus Bible College and Ellsworth Community College on Saturday, beginning at 1:00 pm CST.
