Wyoming, MI – The Grace Christian University men's basketball team went 2-1 in the last week and now find themselves at 4-4 heading into a weeklong break for the Thanksgiving holiday.
After battling a tough NCAA DII Lake State Superior University team on Monday to a single-digit deficit (51-42) early in the second half of play, the Lakers took over in the late stages to run away with a 102-66 win over the Tigers. Eli Carlson in a 112-75 defeat of Appalachian Bible College on Friday and followed up with a 21-point comeback late in the second half to defeat a tough Boyce College squad 97-92 on Saturday. JD Rawls had a career high 26 points and
Kellum Bridgeforth added 20 for the Tigers in that big NCCAA Mideast regional victory.
Grace is currently ranked #6 in the NCCAA DII Top 10 poll. They return to action next Wednesday at 7:30 pm at Alma College.
