Wyoming, MI – It was a roller coaster ride of a game for the Grace Tigers Tuesday evening at the Aldrich Athletic Center, eventually falling 99-86 at the hands of NCCAA DII #1 Great Lakes Christian College.

After a slow start to the game allowed Great Lakes Christian to develop a comfortable lead, the Tigers' bench provided a spark to keep things within striking distance at 47-38 at the halftime break. It seemed as if the Crusaders were running away with things early in the second half, as they extended their lead to 55-41 early in the final period. At this point, the Tigers went on a tear, putting together a 15-0 run to take a 56-55 lead. The cold streak would not last for Great Lakes though, as they knocked down a three point shot to regain the lead and would not give it up for the rest of the game.

Eli Carlson led the Tigers with 23 points including 5 three point field goals. Parker Neu followed with 14 points and 6 rebounds. The Tigers outrebounded the Crusaders 42-34 but would commit 23 turnovers while forcing only 9.

The Tigers will close out their regular season with two home games next week – taking the court again February 10 against Lincoln Christian University at 7:00 pm.
