The Grace baseball team traveled to Glen Oaks CC for one 9 inning game Wednesday afternoon after their doubleheader with GOCC scheduled for Tuesday was pushed back one day due to weather.
In a game where both teams shuffled pitchers throughout, the Tigers fell in a high scoring affair, 18-10. Three Tigers notched three hits on the day:
Kelan Knoll,
Jared Garnaat, and
Jaden Schoeneman. Schoeneman, Knoll, and
Logan Hamstra all recorded 2 RBI.
The Tigers return to the field Friday and Saturday for their lone home games of the year – both doubleheaders vs. NCCAA opponent Maranatha Baptist University. Games are at 2 and 4 pm on Friday and 1 and 3 pm on Saturday at nearby Lamar Park.
