Cory Jamieson named Athletic Director

Wyoming, MI – Grace Christian University is excited to announce their new Athletic Director, Cory Jamieson.

Jamieson steps into this new role after being an integral part of Grace athletics the past nine years, where he served as Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director. Prior to that, Cory was a four-year student-athlete at Grace from 2008-2012 and then spent a stint at the University of Alabama as an athletics intern.

Jamieson holds bachelors degrees with honors from Grace and Davenport University, as well as an M.A. in Sports Management from Western Michigan University. As a student-athlete, Jamieson was the starting point guard for four NCCAA DII National Championship basketball teams, and also played two years of tennis for the Tigers in 2010-2011. He was inducted into the Grace Hall of Fame in 2018. Throughout his tenure as Assistant Athletic Director and SID, the Tigers have won two national championships, two individual national championships, and the department has doubled in number of sports from 8 to 16. Jamieson has also spent four years on the Tigers' tennis coaching staff and is the current Head Golf Coach as the program takes lift-off this upcoming fall.

Cory is married to his wife Katelynd, a fellow Grace alum, and they reside in Wyoming, MI with their two children – Jo Jo and Lincoln

"It's no surprise to those that know me that I'm absolutely thrilled to take this role at a place like Grace that has become a second home to me and a place that I passionately want to see thrive. I appreciate all the prayers, encouragement, and support as we hungrily anticipate all that God has in store for the 2022-23 season and beyond!"
