Wyoming, MI - The Grace Christian University Women's Soccer team concluded their 2024 Regular season at home with a 6-1 win over the Andrews Cardinals. It was an exciting day for the Tigers as they also honored seniors Stephanie Zalis, Claire Tubbergen, and Heather Nyakambiri at halftime. 

The Tigers got off to a great start in this one jumping out to an early two goal lead with goals by Jessica Calizo, and Natalie Huerta. The Tigers would take that lead to the half but look to add more in the second. 

Claire Tubbergen was awarded a penalty kick early on in the second half and would make the score 3-0 Tigers. The Tigers extended the lead to 4-0 before Andrews would answer back with a goal of their own. But the Tigers kept their foot on the gas scoring two more goals before the end of regulation making the final score 6-1.  

Top performers in this game were Jessica Calizo who recorded a hat trick for the Tigers, and Natalie Huerta who added two goals to the day's offense. 

The Tigers concluded their season with a 4-10 record, with plenty of positives to build off of in the coming seasons.
