Wyoming, MI - The Grace Tigers hosted Calumet's Crimson Wave on Tuesday for an afternoon match up at the Aldrich AC. It was a competitive game throughout all 40 minutes, but the Crimson Wave would go on to claim their road victory as they topped the Tigers 83-75.
Calumet got off to an 8-0 lead in the beginning, but Grace quickly cut into their lead and kept it close for a majority of the game. Trailing by only 4 at the half, the Tigers would continue to battle until the buzzer, eventually falling to the Crimson Wave by 8 points.
Bankeys Omari once again led the Tigers with 20 points and 7 rebounds.
Brayden Gable finished with 18 points,
Allen Briggs with 14, and
Quay Humphries chipped in 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
The Grace Men's Basketball team plays one last game before Christmas on the road Saturday, December 21 at Northwood University. Tip-off is scheduled for 3pm.
