WYOMING, MI- The Grace Christian University volleyball team opened their 2024 season on their home court at the Aldrich Athletic Center, taking on the Cougars from Kuyper College.
The Tigers opened up with an early 14-3 lead to start the first set and never looked back from there going on to win 25-6. The second set was not much different. Grace got off to another hot start, thanks to outstanding setting by

Morgan Martin. The Tigers would go on to take the second set by a score of 25-7. Grace did not let up in the third set and would go on to win by the score of 25-15, sweeping their opening match of the season.
The Tigers were led by notable performances from senior
Morgan Martin who finished the day with 9 kills, sophomore
Leah Buller with 3 blocks, and sophomore setter
Lily Hulst who finished the day with 19 assists.
The Tigers start the season 1-0 and look to continue this momentum into their next test, which will be on the road at Kalamazoo Valley Community College on August 29.
