Wyoming, MI - Following a tough loss on the road the Tigers looked to bounce back on their home court as they took on the visiting Archers from Moody Bible Institute (MBI).
It was all Tigers from the first whistle as they would go on to sweep the match in convincing fashion three sets to none, to improve their record to 2-4 in the early goings of the season.
Libero Kyrsten Nolen led the way defensively with 10 digs on the night, while Alexa Borgman added 3 blocks. Offensively Morgan Martin led the effort with 10 kills and Alexa Borgman followed closely with 8. Setter Lily Hulst had an outstanding night, finishing with 21 assists and 6 aces on the night.
The Tigers hope to keep this momentum going into their next contest, which will be at home on Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30pm in the Aldrich Athletic Center, against the visiting Cardinals from Andrew's University.
