Wyoming, MI - Men's basketball took the court at the Aldrich against the Eagles from Judson University on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers are 3-3 in the early goings of the season and are looking to bounce back after a tough loss at home earlier in the week.
The Tigers took control of the game early, shooting almost 50% form beyond the arc in the first half and shooting just over 50% from the floor. The Tigers were really spreading the ball around on offense and really flowing as a team. The Tigers used this momentum to take a 46-33 lead into the locker room at halftime.
The Eagles were able to fight back in this one and narrow the deficit down to 3 with just under 5 minutes to play before the Tigers, led by Brayden Gable, and Keonte Richards were able to pull away. Brayden Gable led all scoring finishing the contest with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Keonte Richards put up 18 points and 6 assists on the afternoon, while Aiden Burns also tallied a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards.
With the win the Tigers improve to 4-3 on the year and are back in action next weekend when they travel to Kentucky to take on Boyce College (Nov. 21) and Alice Lloyd College (Nov. 22). Visit gracetigers.com for schedule, updates, and results.
