Box Score Sidney, MI - The volleyball team traveled an hour and a half north on Tuesday night to take on the Centurions of Montcalm CC for their first contest of the 2025 season. In what proved to be a pretty even matchup, the Tigers came out on top with a 3-2 victory in 5 sets. 

After taking set one 25-23, Grace dropped the next two sets 13-25 and 17-25. With their backs against the wall, the Tigers would need to win out to survive. In set 4, Grace came out strong and dominated the set 25-14. In the fifth and final set, Grace came out on top 15-9 to win their first match of the year.

Alexa Borgman paved the way for the offense with 20 kills, while Delaney Sommers had 31 assists. Senior Kyrsten Nolen tallied 34 digs. 

Grace squares off against Kalamazoo Valley Community College at their place for their next game on September 4th at 6:30pm.
