Wyoming, MI - Following a road loss to open the season, the Grace Christian University Women's soccer team looked to bounced back on their home turf as they took on Rams from North Central University (MN) in their first NCCAA matchup of the 2025 season.
The Tigers got the scoring started early as Senior Abby Schwab connected from the corner off an NCU deflection to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead. 14 minutes of game time later, Schwab would connect on another shot from just outside the box to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead early in the first half. The Rams would answer with a goal of their own making the score 2-1 Tigers heading into the half.
The Tigers got off to a hot start in the second half as Natalie Huerta scored her first goal of the season giving the Tigers a 3-1 lead. Adelyn Clark would later add a goal of her own making it 4-1 which would ultimately be the final propelling the TIgers to their first win of the season! Freshman Goalkeeper Kenna Hill had a solid game in net with a few key saves early on in the game.
