Grace Cross Country Welcomes Logan Lazarock to 2026 Roster

Wyoming, MI - The Grace Christian University cross country program is excited to announce the addition of senior Logan Lazarock from Hamilton High School for next season.  The son of Wayne and Erin Lazarock of Holland, MI, Logan will be competing for Hamilton's track team in distance events this spring.

"Logan is ready to commit to being challenged and pushed in his running and has untapped potential for the Tigers," noted Grace coach Gerry Verwey.  "Although he knows that we have expectations for him to work on his running before the season begins next year, he has stated that he believes in the values of our team and is not afraid to be pushed to learn more about his potential," added Verwey.

"I want to grow and build community during my time on the Grace cross country team," remarked Lazarock at his letter of intent ceremony.  Lazarock chose Grace because of the small community and the ability to find fellow classmates and teammates to encourage him in his walk with Christ, as he pursues a Youth Ministry degree.

The 2026 Grace Christian University cross country season will kick off in August with a roster that will have a number of leaders from this past season's team.  With a solid core of runners to help Lazarock understand the expectations of their training and values, the coaches and returning runners look forward to Lazarock contributing to the team's continued success.
