Mishawka, IN - The JV men's basketball team picked up a nice road win over Bethel College (IN) Tuesday night. The Tigers would hold a comfortable 20-point lead over the Pilots before letting them battle all the way back to a one-point game with 10 seconds remaining. At this point, sophomore guard
Travis Hall knocked down two clutch free throws and the Tigers got a defensive stop to seal the deal, defeating the Pilots 81-78.
Hall's contribution didn't start with just the game-ending free throws, as he knocked down a career-high 3 shots from beyond the arc on the game. Freshman
Jason Long would knock down 6 three-point shots en route to 20 points, matching sophomore
Ethan Kafila's 20 to lead the Tigers.
The Tigers are back in action tonight on the road against Calvin College's JV squad at 5:15 pm.
