Wyoming, MI – The Grace Bible College JV team scored a big win over Grand Rapids Community College Thursday night at the Aldrich Athletic Center, defeating the Raiders 91-89.
The Tigers played a very solid first half, knocking down seven three-point shots en route to a 48-41 advantage headed into the break. They would build on their lead for the first portion of the second half, extending it to double digits before the Raiders came storming back with a full-court press in the waning moments of the game. With the game tied with 10 seconds remaining, freshman Thomas Hill had a put back floater fall to give the Tigers a two point lead. The Raiders' subsequent three-point attempt fell short for the Tigers to pull out the win.
Deandre Metcalf led five Tigers in double figures with 17 points.
