Wyoming, MI – The men's JV basketball team showed what they are capable of on Tuesday evening in their season opener, defeating Bethel College 85-72. The team would not necessarily storm out of the gate, but a 31-15 run to finish the half built a 14 point advantage that the Pilots could not overcome.
The Tigers had 11 players in the scoring column and 5 scorers in double-figures. Jarmichael Heard and Kyle Harper led the Tigers with 12 points each, while Jason Long, Jackson Long, and Dimitrius Neely all pitched in 10. Mike Chahoua led the Tigers with 14 boards. Gerald Oray, Thomas Hill, and Heard all had a team-high 4 assists.
