Grand Rapids, MI – The Grace JV squad took on Cornerstone Monday night, and the rust from a week off for Thanksgiving Break was evident. The Tigers could not find their groove throughout, and ended up falling 81-61 to the Golden Eagles on the road.
"It is hard to win a game when you give up 26 offensive rebounds," commented Grace JV Head Coach Ryan Krombeen. "We had a week off with only one practice, and it showed tonight. We were sloppy on both ends of the court. We finally have a string of practices where we can improve on things, which is imperative for this team. We are getting a couple of guys back in the next week or two as well, which will be very helpful."
Stats to follow....
Grace will return to the floor next Monday at home against Lake Superior State University at 5:00 pm.
