Wyoming, MI – A huge second quarter from the Grace Christian University Tigers women's basketball team would propel them to a large lead that they held for the remainder of the game in an 84-65 victory over the Glen Oaks Community College Vikings. The win moves the Tigers, currently sitting at #5 in the NCCAA DII Top 10 polls, to 6-8 on the season.
The Tigers shot the lights out, connecting on 13-23 three-point shots throughout the game.
Miranda Carlson (JR/Big Rapids Crossroads) led the Tigers with 18 points and a career-high 6 steals. Bre Harris (FR/Fremont HS) had 16 points, 7 assists, and 7 steals for the Tigers. Megan Scholtens (JR/Quad City HS) added 12 points to round out the Tigers in double figures.
