Wyoming, MI – Five Tigers finished in double-figures Tuesday night, as the JV team defeated University of Michigan-Dearborn, 77-69. They built a double-digit lead in the second half, but the Wolverines went on a run with 9:00 remaining to tie things up. Junior Jason Long knocked down a huge three point shot to stop the run and regain momentum for the Tigers, as they went on to hold off UM-Dearborn to move to 8-8 on the season.
Long led the way with 17 points (6-9 FG), 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Sophomore Thomas Hill followed with 15 points, Noah Johnston chipped in 14, Jarmichael Heard had 11, and Gerard Oray rounded out the Tigers in double-figures with 10. Hill had 5 assists compared to 0 turnovers on the game, as well.
